- 01Visa applicants in the United States are required to apply online through the website https://ecimsglobal.com/mission.aspx.(https://ghanaembassydc.org/) The online process requires applicants to upload all the supporting documents, book an appointment and pay for the visa fee, prior to mail us the physical documents. What you will need: • U.S. Passport – You must provide your signed passport. Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months and have a blank page available. • Ghana Visa Electronic Application – The application form must be filled out completely and have answers for all fields. • Washington Express Visas Visa Request Form – filled out completely. • Non-US Passport holders must provide proof of US residency permits to qualify for a Ghana visa in the US (photocopies) • Photographs – Please provide a color, passport size photo. The photograph must be printed on photo paper, must be 2″ by 2″ and have a white background, and must have been taken not more than three (3) months from the date of submitting the application. • Evidence of financial support (bank statement) or a letter of invitation from your host in Ghana. • International Certificate of vaccination against Yellow Fever. • Copy of Covid-19 Vaccine Certificate. • Copy of your airline ticket or travel agent itinerary. • Applications must be completely filled out, and typed. • Application for persons under eighteen (18) years must be submitted with a copy of the birth certificate, a Ghana Consent form signed by both parents, and a copy of the parent’s photo ID. (In single parent situations, attach proof of legal documentation to that effect)

The photograph must be printed on photo paper, must be 2″ by 2″ and have a white background, and must have been taken not more than three (3) months from the date of submitting the application. • Non-US Passport holders must provide proof of US residency permits to qualify for a Ghana visa in the US (photocopies) • Applications must be completely filled out, and typed or completed in black ink only. • Business letter of introduction from your company (on company letterhead) addressed to the Embassy of Ghana stating the purpose of travel, the name and contact of the company in Ghana you’re visiting, and a financial guarantee for all of your expenses. • An invitation letter from the host company, meeting or exhibition organizers in Ghana on company letterhead • International Certificate of vaccination against Yellow Fever. • Copy of Covid-19 Vaccine Certificate. • Copy of your airline ticket or travel agent itinerary.

- 05Vaccination against Yellow Fever required. Exempt from Yellow Fever vaccination: • Children under 9 months of age. • Warning: Passengers leaving Ghana are rquired to present a yellow fever vaccination certificate upon departure. Recommended: • Malaria prophylaxis. Malaria risk – mainly in the malignant (P. falciparum) form – exists throughout the year in the whole country. Resistance to chloroquine and sulfadoxine-pyrimethamine reported. Recommended prevention:IV. **Certain countries may require vaccinations if your prior point of departure is from a country that is deemed a health risk. - 06• Passport required. Passport and/or passport replacing documents must be valid on arrival. • Visa required, except for Holders of a dual Nationality Card issued by Ghana. • Visa Issuance: Dual nationals of Ghana not holding a Dual Nationality Card. • Visitors are required to hold documents required for their next destination. • Warning: Visitors not holding return/onward tickets could be refused entry. Exempt are those traveling with/or to join diplomats accredited to Ghana: holding diplomatic passports, or holding (Gratis) visas.

Visas & Authentication Visas Visa Request Form – filled out completely. 4. Photograph – Please provide one color, passport size photo. The photograph must be printed on photo paper, it must be 2″ by 2″ and have a white background, and it must have been taken in the last 6 months. 5. Letter addressed to the Embassy of Afghanistan stating the purpose of your visit, details of your intended activities, accommodation information, contact information, and your dates of travel. 6. A copy of your airline ticket or travel agent itinerary.

- 12• Visa is not required for those, irrespective of nationality, who are born: – in Afghanistan; – to parents who are nationals of Afghanistan; – to parents who are born in Afghanistan but are not nationals of Afghanistan. • Visitors must hold return or onward tickets and all documents required for their next destination and sufficient funds for their maintenance. • Local laws and culture must be observed.
