What you will need:
Visas & Authentication Visas Visa Request Form – filled out completely.
U.S. Passport – You must provide your signed passport. Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months and have two adjacent blank pages available.
Two (2) Algeria Visa Application Forms – Complete the Visa Application available online at Algeria Embassy Website. **Applications must be typed. Handwritten applications will be rejected.
Photograph – Please provide two (2) color, passport size photos. The photograph must be printed on photo paper, it must be 2″ by 2″ and have a white background, and it must have been taken in the last 6 months.
Proof of legal stay or residence status (applicable to those not applying for the visa in their country of citizenship). For example a notarized copy of Green Card.
Copy of your airline ticket or travel agent itinerary showing your name as well as travel information.
Copy of hotel reservations (Applicant’s name must be on hotel reservation).

Washington Express Visas Visa Request Form – filled out completely.

Letter of invitation from the host company in Algeria.
Business letter of introduction from your company (on company letterhead) addressed to the Embassy of Algeria ( Click here to see a sample business letter) stating:
Nature of business to be performed
Name and address of reference to be visited in Algeria
Guarantee of return transportation and sufficient funds for the visit
Letter must be signed by an senior level employee of the company other than the applicant
The letter and your visa application must specify the type of visa(single, multiple entry), and duration(6 months, 1 year) desired

*The Algeria Embassy is closed Monday’s & Tuesday’s. The Consulate in Washington, DC has jurisdiction over the following states : Washington DC, North Carolina, South Carolina, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia. Residents of any other state must submit visa applications to the New York Consulate.
